Hello,

When i set up my wireless connection and turn the button to turn it on, the light is staying orange and not even turning blue like it supposed to. Can anyone help me in trying to get my computer to turn on the wireless detection software or how to get it to actually look for a wireless connection. Right now its not working at all.

thanks

Configuration: Windows Vista
Firefox 3.0.7

Im guessing that your HP laptop has a touch panel ( a black panel with icons?) Just locate for a icon that resembe the wireless connection and tap or press it. Wait for a while and your computer might respond. Make sure that your laptop is switched on....

Your laptop might be part of a recall by HP. With time your laptop will no longer turn on. Check HP's website at http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c01087277&lc=en&cc=us
to see if your laptop is affected. Make sure you use the service tag on the back to properly identify your series and product number.

You need to download the linux version repositories from their server
try doing that first to see if it works
