After the installaition of Windows XP SP3, my laptop computer when into a phase of rebooting and reseting with the following error meeasge...
STOP: c0000139 {Entry Point Not Found} The Procedure entry point GdiGetBitmapBitesSize could not be located in the dynamic link Library GDI32.dll.
I have tried many things to fix this problem but I have failed. Now I turn to you fine people of computing.net, for help.
Please note my laptop lacks a floppy disk drive or a working built in optical disk drive (I have been using an external disk drive).
Please help me.

Per has a fix that worked for him. Do this as follows: Check if you have subinacl.exe installed. If not download and install SubInACL.exe http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...
