NO SOUND ON MY INSPIRON 1521

HEY I HAVE A INSPIRON 1521 WITH WINDOWS VISTA. ONE DAY I TURNED ON MY LAPTOP TO FIND OUT THAT MY COMP. HAS NO SOUND. I TRIED UNINSTALLING THE SIGMATEL HIGH DEF AUDIO CODEC AND IT DIDNT WORK NOTHING I TRY WORK I REALLY NEED HELP AND DO IF I BUY A NEW SOUND CARD WILL MY SOUND WORK AGAIN CUZ IM THINKIN MAYB MY SOUND CARD BLEW OUT OR SOMETHING PLZ HELP!

Hello dude..you no need to buy a new sound card.just to reinstall the sound driver that have been given when you buy this lappy..make sure your step to install is correct.then restart..you have done and finish..good luck..:p
