ASP hyperlinks don't open

Office23, on Thursday May 22, 2008 12:17:58 PM
Hello,

I have firefox 2 and IE 7 and both default to downloading .asp links instead of opening them. How do I fix this, I really need to get some documents that are given by these kinds of pages....

Thank you!
Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello

Are you certain both IE7 and Firefox 2 (and any other browsers for that matter) offer users the option to download.asp links instead of opening them? Let's say I'm a webmaster in charge of a website, do you think I will allow you to download the entire contents, links & sublinks? you've got to be kidding.

I am having the same problem. I signed up for progressive car insurance and when I go to the documents page to print my temp insurance card, it asks me to download the .asp file when I click on the print tab from within the site. We are not kidding. It is really annoying. Both IE7 and Firefox 2

I am having exactly the same problem. Have you found a solution yet???? And when it downloads a file instead of opening it, do you get 10, 25, 00r 50 tabs saying "untitled" before you close the download box? HELP!!!
