Follow up with me:
when you machine finishes booting press the following combination
Ctrl+Shift+Esc
this will launch Task Manager, click on More details and locate the explorer.exe -> right click and choose go to details
right click and choose End process tree
now chose file -> new task -> type: explorer.exe
and hit enter.
