I am trying to burn files to a disk as my computer is going to break soon.. I have tried burning to disc but each time I try I get told that i need to insert a CD-R or CD-RW etc etc. This is even when I have blank disc's in the drive.
I have tried it on Nero using their software to burn, failed. I have tried using Windows itself, failed. I have tried using iTunes, failed.
I know it's not a problem with the discs as I have opened a fresh packet of CD's so that I know they are blank and undamaged. My computer drive recognises that there is a blank CD in there, just when I go to burn i am told that i need to insert a blank cd and it ejects the disk that is in there. Or if i have left the disc out and am told to insert the disc, it still does nothing..
Any help appreciated ASAP as my laptop is going to die soon and I'd rather not lose all my stuff lol
