Webcam not working on msn

Hi ,
Am having some problems with ma web camera . when i connect it to my laptop it works perfectly and i can take snaps also. The problem is that when i try to use it on my msn, It just shows me some combination colours..i really dont know what to do cause i already tried to plug and unplug, also un-install and install..Can you please help me !
