...i have connected the laptop to the tv with the hdmi cable and audio cable but no sound and when i disconnect the audio NO PICTURE!...what am i doing wrong?...

If you are using HDMI, you do not need audio cable. Make certain to change the input of the tv. Make certain to change the screen output of your pro to hdmi.

...thanks, ac3mark, but my macbookpro needs audio as it's before 2010...i've got it working now, tho'...just had to change the audio pref on the tv, too...
