How to change the language of my laptop

Hello,
plz help. i want to change the language of my laptop from japanese to english, what do i need to do? my lapyop is windows xp, toshiba.

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 7.0

Insert the windows cd in cd rom
and go control pennel ,ragional setting and change the language
u need brows the one type of file in a cd windows xp any

Go to start, control panel, regional language options, and go to advanced, details
