Hello,

I have a Dell Dimension E21. Am trying to install a WD 500 gig hdd as a second hard drive. System won't recognize it. Drive is already formatted, and all the cables are correct because my system recognized it at first. Then rebooted and it didn't work. Rebooted tweaked the Bios (guessing all the way). So maybe someone can help me revist the bios settings.

Thanks

Configuration: Windows XP
Mozilla 1.9.0.7

Hi,
try the hard drive in another computer and see if you still get the same problem.
if yes, then the hard disk is faulty.
