Powerbook vs windows laptop?

Hello,

I have a gateway laptop. It is a atholn dual core tl-50 1.6ghz and 2Gb Ram. how is that compared to a apple powerbook with 1.67ghz and 2GB Ram? I am thinking of getting the powerbook.

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

Hai

If you're going to shell out the extra cash for the powerbook, why not get an Apple laptop with the Intel processor ? That way you can use bootcamp and do a dual boot with Windows in case there is software you want to use which is not compatiable with the MAC.
