Lexmark 5300 series printer

Hello,

I am having problems with the printer when it was first purchased it worked now it doesn't want to it is not that old maybe 2 to 3 months. I have unhooked and reconnected it but i get the error message " cannot communicate with printer" it tells me to trouble shoot and check a bunch of stuff which i have done any one have any suggestions? Besides reinstalling it.

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

Hello

have you tried another cable? and did you unplug the power cable at same time you unpluged cable to computer and then plug cable into computer and power back up ?

I HAVE A LEXMARK X5320. I RECEIVED A NEW COLOR CARTRIDGE #29 WITH IT. MY QUESTION IS "WHAT IS THE NUMBER FOR THE BLACK INK CARTRIDGE?" THANK YOU!
