Hello,
I have to start by saying I'm a bit of a luddite. In an effort to move away from this, I started to delete many of the unuseed files on my pc. When I did this, I had two bad outcomes. 1) all my word docs changed from word to wordpad. OY and 2) Now when I have an attachement to my browser based emails, rather than giving the recipient the choice of open or save, it gives the choice find or save. I am in the process of sending out a bunch of resumes so I need to get the second issue fixed. Any help would be most appreciated. I figured how to fix the first problem. I am using windows xp 2002 version.

Hi,
if you are using Firefox, go to Tools in the browser and click on the Main tab.
there you can select the method you want.

Thanks much for your response. I'm not using firefox--I do use internet explorer though I'm not sure what version. (7.0 etc.) I appreciate any insight you can provide--I'm trying to send out resumes but it does me no good if no one can open it. : )
