Can't format my flash disk

Hello,
i have a usb flash disk, i cant format my usb flash disk. it says, "There is no disk in drive F: insert a disk and try again"... could help me on this?

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 2.0.0.20

Computer do detect my flash but could not open the contents of the flash so what do i do to solf this problem ,is ether ask me to format the drive bet still no way to even format it

First you have to log in into computer windows as admin or if the comp is not yours then you have to tell the administrator to log in and format for you.

When i plug in my flash it asks for formatting, i try quick format it tells me that the format is not complete and when i try again, it tells me it has failed. Imagine this is a new flash disk

IF I OPEN MY FLASH DISK IT ASK ME TO FORMAT IT AND IF I FORMAT IT IT SAYS THAT WINDOWS IS UNABLE TO FORMAT IT

I hv the same problem but mine is when i insert flash it appear but can't open and show the massage tha is not formated am try to format it say the disk can't be formated

Jus download a driver for it.
type in google - flash drive drivers click on the first one and download it,
