How can i get my task bar and icons back

Hello,
i'm having a problem with my computer . the problem is that it wont show taskbar and icons in my computer.
I really need help please someone help me in the name of jesus.

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 7.0

Hi,

If you cannot be able to see your taskbar and icons (i guess desktop icons) - meaning your desktop is blank, when you start the machine.

Do this press Ctrl + Alt + Del ( and depending on the ways users log in to your machine) you might see the tsakbar or you'll have to select Taskbar from the resulting dialog box. then on the file menu of the taskbar select new task (run) and then type explore, you'll be able to see the desktop icons and the taskbar.

But i guess this wont solve your problem because in future you'll have to do the save.

Why don't you try to Scan and fix errors on the drive you have installed windows.
It might help.
