Hello,
I want to color the file name blue in the list of files in a folde. Use this to differentiate files rarely used from commonly used files.
I see files in blue color and standard black in the same file folder list, just don't know how they got that way??

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

Hi,

I think what you mean to ask is that when to go to some drive its folder name appears in blue and others appear in black?

That is because te partion in blue is an encrypted or compressed NTFS partition/ folder. To chnage back everything back to black, follow these steps:

Open Folder Options in Control Panel.
Click Start, and then click Control Panel.
Double-click Folder Options.
On the View tab, de-select the Show encrypted or compressed NTFS files in color
check box.

Hope this helps.
