Application error

Hello,
I just installed a printer and am now getting iexplore.exe.application error. Exception unknown software exception (oxc000000d)occurred in the application at location oxo40008aa0. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the printer and i am still getting this error. it automatically boots me out of internet explorer.

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 7.0

try to update your windows installer.
this will allow you to install the software.
make sure that the software is compatible with your system.
