hi

i have a lacie external hard disk 1tb. This hard disk was used on a mac before, but i decided i want to use it on a pc. I have formated it via disk management and later i formatted it again by using easeUS Partition Master 10.2. After the formatting process, my laptop could detect the hard disk just fine. When i reboot my laptop, the hard disk could not be detected, not even in the disk management.
Some said that I should update the driver, so I've downloaded it but when i run the program it says there is no compatible lacie driver connected.is my hard disk corrupted? if so, is there anything I can do? please help me

Hello badrul92,

Have you tried to format your external device in FAT32 or exFAT file system?
Try this and come back to tell me what happened.

Good luck!

Hi KY_WD,

I have formatted the hard disk and made 2 partitions. 1 NTFS (forgive me if im wrong, not very good with computer) and another 1 is in FAT32. It was weird for me because sometimes windows could not detect the device. Apparently the cable was faulty, i changed it and the hard disk works like a charm. Now i can use it both on mac and pc. Thank you
