Cq40 xp sound driver problem

Hello,

i juz recieved my lappy, cq40 model from my uncle.
the prob is that im using windows xp n theres no sound
my frenz told me to find the sound driver but i dunno how.

can anyone help me?

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 7.0

Hi,

I just wanna know how to install audio drivers for Xp on compaq cq40 330tu. i tried but even though the drivers seem to get installed ..if i try playing any media file..it doesnt play..

pls help..

Hello!
i just found the solution for that just downgrade your bios to f11. hp has deleted the file from its site. u need to download from mediafire.com. i have solved the problem. if it doesnt solve. mail me.
