Hello,

I have a Toshiba Satellite Touchscreen laptop wth windows 8 installed. Where is the battery located (It doesn't appear to have one!) It is receiving power with th AC adapter but won't start up but the orange power light on the front flashes. What could be wrong and is there a way I can fix it myself?

The battery is located at the bottom

Try this

1. Remove the battery and cable.

2. Press and hold the power button for 58 seconds.

3. Replug and start.

Good luck

Thank you for replying but there is no battery on the bottom and when I unscrew the panel (at the bottom) all I see is workings of the computer. I took a pic of the bottom of my laptop, slightly different to yours. Would it be possible to repost your photo with an arrow or some sort of indication as to where your battery is?
