Laptop/mouse freeze.

Thank you Moey for your answer given on November 6, 2013, regarding my inability to [/contents/660-file-formats-and-extensions move my mouse and type on my Toshiba Satellite. It was right on the money. Unfortunately, not only could I not move my mouse and type at the same time, I had a RESTART your computer message box in the center of the screen. This RESTART message prevented me from checking the appropriate boxes given in your instructions. How do I remove or check the RESTART message box, in order to complete the process of unfreezing mouse/laptop?
