When I type, letters going all over the place

Hello,

I am typing a letter and the first line types fine and then suddenly my typing ends up on another part of the page! What the heck? I am about ready to scream! Any suggestions?

Configuration: Windows Vista
Internet Explorer 7.0

I have nothing actually-I am only typing e-mails. I do have Word viewer. It is bizzare- I am typing and my letters jump back to the middle of my sentence. It has done it twice since typing this!!!

Omg, that does the same thing to me! it pisses me off! it happens ANY and EVERY time i type; like Right now! how the hell do i turn this shit off?!!!!! ughhhh it is HELL to type ANYTHING. even stupid papers! help.

I have the same problem.. and it happens in all different programms> word, entourage...Mh, maybe it is a microsoft f****-up??

Do you have a laptop with a touchpad below the keyboard? See if you can
change the sensitivity of the touchpad.

Did you solve the problem?? I have the same problem, with my toshiba tecra, letters go all over the screen when typing.

You have a virus in your PC & I dont find any antivirus software can detect that virus.

I'll suggest you that you format your PC fully.

I have the same problem when I use my laptop...and it-s because I keep running my hand over the mouse area...
I think I-m using my mouse but actually the mouse pad is still active.
