Could i connect to xbox live through ethernet

Hello, I was wondering if i could connect a normal ethernet cable into my xbox 360 and then into a router to get xbox live any anwsers will be Great

Hi There I'm sure you can but I think you have got to set port forwarding. I am not an expert so I am not sure how to do that search for it on the internet and see what you come up with.
