Hello, I have a question regarding my excel problem..

I have two sheets of excels files containing a large range of data, is it possible to find overlaping data on those sheets using vlookup/hlookup function in a same time (search a range of data in one sheet through both columns and rows of data in another sheet).

Here for example, let's say i have a list of patents from firm A (sheet A); and list of patent from firm B (sheet B), each patent have their own references lists. What is the formula if i want to find which patent from firm A have overlapping references with firm B)

thanks, your assistance will be appreciated

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 3.0.6
