BIOS detects but can't use HDD

Hello,



I got problem with three Hard Disk Drives. Two are 80 GB Seagate IDE and one is 160GB SATA Seagate.
Computer BIOS is detecting the hard disks (I checked on many PCs) but Windows and any Disk Manager (even of Seagate's) can't ake partictions, they just can't see the hard disk. I checked with Seagate's testing tool (DOS based) and it tests the drive and it says Hard Disk is ok an give it a PASS result. Please guide me how to use them again?

They all were working fine. I just put into another CPU and reformatted them and after that they are in this state!

Hello


Have you tried just installing one harddrive and see if you can partion it ? Don't forget to set the jumpers correctly.



Are you using Service Pack 2 for XP ? Also, you may have to load the SATA drivers from your motherboard CD.
