Hi Biswajit,
There are 2 steps involved.
1. Letting Excel know which cell needs to be blocked. This is done by going to the final tab of "Cell properties" (Ctrl+1). By default all cells are blocked, so the fastest way would be to select all cells (Ctrl+a) and uncheck the blocked box. Then select the cell you want to block and check the blocked box.
2. Protecting your sheet. Go to the "Review" tab to find the option to protect your sheet.

I thought I gave you a step by step way to do this.
If you want to use this strategy then let me know what is not working for you; blocking/unblocking cells or protecting your sheet.
If the value in the cell you want to block is always the same, then you can also use "data validation" which can by found in the "Data" tab.
In the "Allow" dropdown list, choose the bottom option, which will allow you to enter a formula.
If cell A1 is only allowed to contain the phrase "ABC" then use the formula:
=A1="ABC"
Let me know where you get stuck.
I could provide pictures to show the steps, but I'm using a Dutch version, so I'm not sure if it would be helpful to you.
