Hello,

I have a MacBook and I partition some part of it to use as Window Vista. Now I just bought a new toshiba external hard disk. The external hard disk can be detected by the mac side but not the windows side. But on the windows side, there is the icon to safely remove it. But when I go to my computer, there isn't the drive for the external hard disk.

What can I do?

Okie,

I just tried to follow your case nice stuff that you did to the MAC. Well if the external hard disk is being detected with MAC better use it there then and no you do not have the Remove Safely option in MAC for the time being so if you wish you can wait for a few minutes before unplugging the device .. else try to highlight the device and press CMD+E at the same time.
