Hello, I don't know anything about computers so I found this site and thought it'd help me. I have Windows Vista Home Premium and lately for the past week or so it'll occasionally freeze up (more towards the morning I've noticed doubt it makes a difference.) doesn't let my mouse move and my music or whatever I'm watching stops too. It won't let me shut it down or bring up the task manager so my only option is to plug it off and restart. Then it'll be fine throughout the rest of the day it seems.
At first I thought maybe I was low on disk space or something so I uninstalled a game I have that takes up a lot of space (The Sims2 and its expansion packs) I thought that did the trick till it did it again. Could it be a virus?? I still have a CD that came with the computer when we first bought could that be used to wipe it out? How can I save my music so it doesn't get lost.
Don't know if this will help but it tells you my information http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d53/Carolina53191/Untitled.jpg
Okay saving your music you should have or buy an external harddrive, in this day and age it is always good to have one anyway. There are alot of reasons why vista might freeze.
