I need help with my webcam!

Hello, everybody...

I have this webcam from Micro-Innovations model IC435C, I have the installation cd. So I opened my webcam but it says Sorry, you have no video capture hardware. I went to the manufacture site to download the OS but it also doenst help. I dont what I did wrong. I really need help with this, thanks!!!

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 6.0

I'm having the EXACT problem as her, Micro-Innovations webcam IC435C.
I don't plug it in, I installed the CD.. It says it worked properly. Plugged it
back in.
Then, when I click on it a message pops up saying, "Sorry, no video capture software,"
or something among those lines. I called the company today, they didn't
answer. Looked at the site, couldn't get any help. I even sent an email to
them. I'm not sure what to do. It says I don't have a webcam on my MSN.
& yet the webcam light is on? I don't know how to fix it. Please help.

I use linux and when i try using the webcam installing disk, just says it can not be written isnt there another way to install without using the disk,its a phillips webcam spc500nc,pls help me out

you need to install the cd and thus install the program itself and it will work fine

Hey Islandgirl!

Im having the same issue!
However i have used this webcam before and now it refuses to open saying i have no video capture hardware!
Did you ever resolve this issue??
If so how do i do it??
I have bought a new web cam and this didnt work either...i used the two web cams on my friends computer and they both worked perfectly!

the make is a Mikomi web cam

I got the same problem, well a bit different
i try to connect my webcam to msn, it doesnt work,
i can connect it to my laptop, and i can see myself if i click the installed program for it, and i can even record it on youtube!
but on msn it wont work
some helpplz
