I having problem hooking up my PS3 to the internet. I have one of those USB modems that plug straight into the computer. It is only a receiving modem only, I run the vodafone software to connect to the internet. I was hoping to connect a cable (data cable) straight from the computer to the PS3 and run it that way but cant figure out how it works and if the settings are wrong. I cant plug the usb adaptor straight into the PS3 as you need vodafone software to run the modem. Can some one tell me if i am doing anything wrong or will it work? Thanks guys
Configuration: Windows XP Internet Explorer 6.0
