As I know, if you place the web server on DMZ zone, the Internet users would be able to access that server (all listening ports) without blocking. It would expose that server to Internet users but you can still access it from internal home network. The other more secure way is, if you only need the Internet users to access its http port 80 but not other ports, then you can place that server on internal home network, enable port forwarding on router to forward that particular port 80 traffic to this server only. You can still access the server from internal home network. Good luck.. |
