Inspiron wireless WLAN card stopped working

Hello,
I just got an inspiron 1420, and within 3 hours of turning it on the wirefless WLAN card wireless network controller just stopped working. No blue screen appeared. The desktop window manager also stopped working within minutes. So far there seems to be no other problems.. just now i have no internet connection on it. I've tried restarting the laptop. That doesn't seem to help.

Configuration: Dell Inspiron 1420
windows vista home premium
intel(r) core (tm)2 Duo CPU T8300 @2.40GHz
3.49 GB RAM
mobile intel(r) 965 express chipset family
