WD640 shows unknown device

Hello,
Recently i bought Western Digital MyBook 640GB, I was tried all kind of trouble shooting but its still shows unknown device under device manager.

1) its work find with vista mechine at my office, just plug and play
2) Its not works find with XP mechine as well as Windows server 2008.
3) I was try with different all my USB port - Still unknown device.
4) i was download all kind of firmware form Western Digital website for the device still not works.

kindly assist me..

Configuration: Windows Vista
Internet Explorer 7.0
