My computer screen wont turn on (gateway)

I've tried multiple steps and ways to try and turn on my laptop. Its a gateway NE56R10u and I will plig it in and lights will flash but my screen wont turn on. I was using it awhile ago and my screen would fade white and eventually it became all white. I went to turn it on again but all that would happen is lights below my keyboard come on. Do I need to bring it to a shop and get it fixed? Whats wrong with my laptop

Hello, your laptop is having problem in its LCD or just the back-light or maybe the lcd is expired. The best way is to bring it to a shop and have it fixed.
