I am using 2 Hard disk drives...both of WD....1 of 320 GB....other one is 1 TB 10 EARS hard disk drive( WD GREEN CAVIAR)...

Last night my 1 TB drive got disappeared...in morning it appeared just for few minutes..and then again gone undetected......

I have checked the plugs and wires already, but of no use.

Please anyone help me out...as i am having data of about 5-6 years on 1 TB drive....i do not want to replace or get it change by the WD company as i will lost all of my data...movies...songs..personal data...photos, softwares and all.....
please help me anyone

Additional Info:Once i have already replaced the drive, and that time too same problem happened, but that time i was able to take the backup.

(I am having windows 7 installed on 320 GB hard disk drive.)

Hello,

Try this 1

1) First make sure that the drive got detected in the BIOS.

2) Try different data and power cable rather than checking the connections.

Good Luck
