My name is David Im still in school now we got a assighnment to do we have to awnser the following questions... can someone please tell me ....
Name 5 requirements for your pc to conect to a LAN
Name 5 hardware that will be required
Procedure of setting up a LAN

You can also learn more from these wireless network setup and Ethernet home network setup tutorials. Once you have basic understanding, you should have no problem to set up a network, can start to set up one at home.. :)

1. lan card
2. cat 6E optical fibre cable
3. RJ 45 connector
4. switch which may be 8 port or 16 port according to ur requirements
5.creemping tool and lan tester
