Pc turns off on switching speaker plug

Hello,
I am facing a strange problem , when ever I switch off my speakers by switching the speaker plug , automatically my pc switches off completely ( status and power light off ) then I have to manually press the off button to switch it onn again ,
can any one analysize what the speaker plug has to fd o with the cpu power as both speaker and cpu are connected in separate plug

I found the same problem on diffrent motherboard Asus p5n motherboard , and intel dg in both cases smps was same .
