CD-dvd rom not is not visible in my computer

I have sony dvd writer in my pc. All cables are connected correctly But I can't find "cd-dvd Rom" drive in my computer not even in device manager and device drive manager. But it is visible in boot selection and BIOS setting.

I tried upper and lower registry trick. But in my pc there is only upper registry. I delete and restart but no change found.

Please help me!!!!!!

Hi,

You need to download drivers for it.
Check the support site for your pc and download th e drivers.

There is no windows driver for DVD ROM because it is an plug n play device...

In boot selection menu.. It indicate as "PM-SONY DVD RW DRU-835"
