Thinkpad T400 not booting up if the power cable is not in

Hello
My thinkpad T400 does not want to boot up if the power cable isnot in. The power light flashes on and off and the power cable is plugged, but the batery does not charged full.
What can I do or should the baterry be replaced?

Hello,

yes. Your battery will need replacing.

the best thing to do is to take the battery out and get the details from the sticker on it such as part codes etc.

contact Lenovo for further assistance.
