Outlook - Rediffmail service problem

Hello,

I use a rediffmail.com service, the free one most of us uses. Now i have tride to configure it with my Outlook Exp. (Microsoft Office 2007). It has configured but i am not receiving any mails. And when i send a mail, a mail jumps back saying....""421 Authorization failed: please authenticate by doing get message first"". So, can anyone please help me out. And, i have a mail id from indiatimes.com, so can anyone provide me settings required for the connection, incoming-outgoing server, etc.. Please advice & help.

For your info, i use a reliance data card for net conn., does it hinder the progress.

Hi,
go to the firewall > Privacy setting.
Go to the site list.
If you find any thing like rediff.com or similar then from the right table, select third party cookies, allow.
this should fix your problem.

In your account settings, enable the "Log on to incoming server before
sending mail" on the "Outgoing Server" tab of your account properties. How
to locate these properties and tabs is Outlook version-specific but you
decided that information wasn't important

Mail setup=email account=change=moresettings=Outgoing server=Log on to incoming server before
sending mail

This fixed my problem. Should fix yours too
