New router, WIFI full connection, no internet access.

Hello,

I have a problem that when I try to connect to my new router that Comcast sent me it just says that its "identifying.." then it says its a "Unidentified Network" then under it it says I have no internet access.(Has a full connection) Other devices cannot connect to it either. I have a different router connected next to it currently that I have had for a while and my laptop connects to it fine. I recently got another router that was not from Comcast and it basically has the same problem where it says "No internet access" but full connection. Any help would be appreciated! If you need anymore information ill get it. Windows 7 is my OS

It will be ok.....

When you made the connection into the WIFI, did you set up the network location, like Public, Home, Work? You must tell your OS how to use the new WIFI.

Well it says it is a Public Network, but when I try to click Public Network to change it, it wont let me cause its like bolded out.

Destroy that network connection and build another one. Mark it as Home!

Okay I got the comcast one to work, thank you. I was doing what you said and somehow I got it to turn it into a Home network. Im gonna see if my netgear n600 router will work sense it kinda had the same problem. I'l comment back and see if it does!

Nvm didnt get the netgear to work but it doesn't matter its about the same as the comcast one. Thanks for the help!
