Unable to find/search available wifi

I own dell inspiron 3526/ DOS/ 64bit/ 4GB/ 500 GB, installed windows 8 but unable to connect/search wifi &/or bluetooth.
I tried to install the drivers but showing error.

Hang in there....

Prior to making the change in O/S, did you find out if your hardware is even compatilbe with windows 8?

If it is not, then you just successfully made a good machine into a boat anchor!

How to ensure/check whether my Dell inspiron 3521 is compatible with windows 8 or not.

Note:
Everything working properly except wifi & bluetooth (wireless comnections) on windows 8 in dell inspiron 3521.
(1.8GHz, no graphics card, dos, 64bit,
Win 7 was pre installed in my dos laptop.)

Please reply to this.

YOU must take an inventory of hardware, through your device manager. Get all of the parts from the listing.

Look for something under network adaptors like:
Dell Wireless 1703 802.11b/g/n (2.4GHz)

You could have went here:
https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/windows
for a system scan to see if it is compatible.
