Hello, ATT dsl, motorola modem, linksys router. The only way I have been able to file and printer share between my two wirelessly connected computers (both running xp), is to turn OFF Windows firewall and McAfee firewall. I don't want to be exposed, so what's a good way to get some protection? Thanks for the help!

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 7.0

Do I need to create an exception in Windows Firewall? If so, which port do I choose?

U should go to the "my network places" folder and on the left side u should see "set up a home or small office network" go though that wizard on both computers and file shareing and printer sharing should work no matter what firewall u have or whatnot
