Lexmark x4690 will not scan

Hello,
I have a lexmark x4690. It prints ok but will not scan to my computer. I have the installation disk.

Configuration: Windows XP
Firefox 2.0.0.20

Hi,
this may be a problem in the printer/scanner.
contact your local Lexmark dealer or the place where you bought the unit.
if it is on warranty, your lucky!
else you will have to pay for the repairing cost.

I can only seem to scan to attached flah chip, not to the computor. Better than nothing.

I have the same issue - seems this is happening a lot with this Lexmark product.
Beware Mac users: do not buy this printer if you want to scan.

I have a mac, and i bought this printer...i was able to scan no problem, it asks if i want to scan to iPhoto, or scan it right to my desktop, without any problem. i bought mine on august 1st.
