I have a 160GB Macbook Pro but as a designer I need more GB to store my files. I leave my music and photos on the computer harddrive and then have a portable 320GB external hard drive which I save all my work on.

I have purchased an additional 1TB hard drive so that I can backup both the computer and the 320GB ext hard drive to so that if I lose the portable one I still have a backup. However I cannot seem to backup from one ext hard drive to another. Having spoken to numerous people on the phone (Western Digital, Mac, PC, World etc), they all say I need some 3rd party software but noone knows what..?! Searching the internet hasn't helped me either s Im hoping someone reading this might know a way I can solve this issue...?

Configuration: Mac OS X
Safari 525.27.1

Hi,
try to copy the data manually from one drive to another.
this will certainly take some time but at least your data will be copied.

Hi! Did you ever figure out this problem? Can you please let me know what software you found to do this, and of course, how long it takes?
