Hang in there.

So log in as admin, that will give you access to any account on the machine.

If it is the admin account you lost your password to, OOPS. Take it to a qualified technician!

UBUNTU is a LINUX Build.

I have built a number of UBUNTU machines. They are good for general machines, but if you have specific needs with specific software or applications, it is not as friendly.

I am not familiar with it enough to let youknow the latest and greatest build. I fidled with it over 3 years ago, when I was building a home IPTV Streamer.
