Hi,

How can I connect my guitar amp to my computer?

What I have been doing until now is using a 6.3mm to 3.5mm jack and plugging the 3.5mm jack to the Line In of my computer, but that's very primitive and I'd like something better.

Is there something I can install internally in my computer, maybe in the 3.5" bay or 5.25" bay, that can allow me to interface with my guitar amp?

Thank you very much.

Hello, Lady

You can try searching for a Sound Blaster Audigy 2 Platinum Ex or Audigy 2 ZS Platinum.

They go for about $150 and they have 1/4" Mic imput with volume control and preamp. 1/4" line in. 1/4" Headphone, Midi in/Midi out, remote control for playing back music, firewire, optical in/ opticle out.

It is the best sound card i've ever used.

Note: I also plug my electric guitar into it.

Hope this would help.

Best,
