RAM issue

Hi
I recently got a new computer with 2GB of RAM in two seperate sticks and was wondering if my old ram on my pc would be suitable to use for my new one.

The old ram is a Infineon 512MB DDR 333 MHz CL2.5 64Mx64 SDRAM.

Any ideas, guys, would be very helpful. I know I should buy the same RAM again but would this suffice for now?

Hi!

First of all, I doubt this would work cause your new computer is probably be running DDR2 RAM and your old RAM is DDR, and it will not fit.

And anyway... why would you want to do this if you already have 2GB of RAM?

I have 2.5 gig of RAM and I edit in Final Cut Pro (Mac G5). Wouldn't it perform better at 4 gig of RAM?
