CD/DVD RW driver

Hello,
I`m a dimwit, dont know much about computers, but i have a problem with my
ADVENT 7012 laptop i bought it 2nd hand from a reliable source . It now tells me
the RW CD/DVD driver is no longer in the system i`ve tried rolling back to a previous
time i still cant find it

Please can someone HELP ?

Configuration: Windows XP
Internet Explorer 7.0

it seems that you need to get the drive replaced.
