Install vista or xp after installing Linux OS

Hello,
how can i install win xp or vista without loosing any data in exept C:drive , if a system has linux OS.
Kindly describe the file system information of linux also, i am facing a lot of problem to farmate the system has os Linux. In major cases i have to formate whole hard disk to remove it.

Configuration: Windows Vista
Internet Explorer 7.0

Hello,

because M$ Corporation couldn't imagine that some other OS exist, you have to:
1st: install window$
2nd: install your Linux OS

If your Linux OS is installed yet, and if you don't have to modify your partitions:
you just re-install your Linux OS, and use your previous /home. don't format it, and you will find again all your files and the use of it.
